PROGRAMME OF YOUR SNOWSHOEING HOLIDAY RANDO PASSION :
Day 1: Arrival, settling in, welcome drink.
Day 2 afternoon: La Bourgeoise, from the famous Col de Joux Plane, a gentle warm-up to a magnificent viewpoint over the Giffre valley and the Mont Blanc massif.
Day 3: Le Pelly de Sales, starting from the vacation village and passing by the Cascade du Rouget, a beautiful mountain walk to discover charming hamlets isolated in winter. A day out of time in a very seldom-visited area!
Day 4: Tour de la Pointe d'Uble, a challenging hike in a wild area where you can spot chamois, mouflons and golden eagles. A "high mountain" atmosphere as you pass the Col de la Bolire, with superb views of the Mont-Blanc chain along the way.
Day 5 afternoon: The Cirque du Fer à Cheval, a must-see site in the valley, classified as a Grand Site de France since 2001, offers a dream setting in the heart of the Sixt/Passy nature reserve... Its cliffs and icefalls will make you dizzy! Ibex observation.
Day 6: Plateau de Loex, a trapper's day in the Little Canada of our region. Imagine crossing clearings and forests where you can get lost. An exceptional view of the Mont-Blanc chain and the Haut-Giffre valley awaits you, as well as a wood fire on the snow to enhance your picnic lunch...
Day 7: Bostan/Golèse, 2 refuges and 2 mountain pastures, a lovely loop in an open, undulating area between Samoëns and Morzine.
Day 8: Departure after breakfast.
