Snowshoe treks and observation of outstanding nature with Mireille and Alain.
Age minimum : 7 ans
We provide transfers, snowshoes and sticks. You will require hiking boots or snowboots. If you come to the Tourist Office for a newcomers' drink, you can get more information from Anthonioz Skis. For bookings, phone 06 81 68 79 46.
Enjoy a trek across snow-covered ground. Keep watch for animal tracks and see how they survive at high altitude in the winter. Learn to "read" the snow and, best of all, discover the fabulous panoramic views of the Upper Giffre Valley.
Every week, from Sunday to Friday, we offer a varied programme of treks to suit the amount of snow cover and the weather. Suitable for most people, with progressive levels of difficulty. To improve the quality of the outing still further, we try to limit the group to no more than 12 per guide.
Sunday: A walk exploring the valley, with panoramic views (depending on the snow conditions).
Monday: Fer à Cheval, with its mountain goats, panoramic view and impressive ice waterfalls.
Tuesday: Life in the forest, animal tracks, panoramic views of Mont Blanc and/or superb forest trekking
Wednesday: Fantastic outing in the Munes Valley where we will see mouflons and tell you all about the local wildlife.
Thursday: Live a trapper's life for a day. Enjoy a sausage cooked on a campfire that you have buillt!!
Friday: Wonderful trek from Les Gets to Le Praz de Lys where there are often chamois.
Half-day, including snowshoes, poles and transfer € 21
Trapper Day on Thursdays: € 30 (transport included depending on availability)
