An authentic and unspoilt village with enduring pastoral traditions, Morillon plunges visitors into the sweetness of Alpine life. Here, the generosity of nature comes in many forms, from the most active to the most contemplative... not forgetting the most delicious. Enjoy!
Morillon offers all the discreet charm of a village resort along with a pleasant family atmosphere and a vast ski area with access to the Grand Massif slopes. It comprises traditional houses trimmed in the region's typical wood varieties, and chalet-style apartment buildings, all built around the historic village church of Saint Christophe. This ancient church dates from the 16th century and features a lovely square bell tower topped with an onion-shaped dome. Morillon is split into a number of hamlets, since the village resulted from the unification of the former village, with its hamlets of "Les Champs" and "Le Verney", both located 700 metres above sea level, and the resort of Morillon 1100, which has emerged 400 metres higher up.
