Walking on the little footpath that follows the ridge between Châtillon pass and the Orchez mountains, you'll quickly arrive at a sloping ledge with a tiny chapel at its centre.
Autumn, late in the day, is the best time to fully appreciate this superb site. The ground is carpeted with leaves of every colour and the sun's low rays turn this little marvel into a colourful array. As soon as you step through the small doorway, you're instantly dazzled by the icon painted on the wall of the altar.
