Balconied on the northern slope, facing the pyramidal Pic du Marcelly (1999 m), the route passes through peaceful hamlets before reaching the Lac des Vernays. Along the way, you'll discover the Chapelle de Nicodex and the pretty hamlet of Les Miaux. The return journey takes you along the right bank of the Giffre, an impetuous river that flows freely as far as the Taninges dam. It's an easy route through woodland.
