The Fruitière des Hauts-Fleury & Croq’Alp, La Maison du Goût
The cheese dairy of the village! Every day, the farmers of Mieussy deliver their milk here for the on-site manufacture of Tomme de Savoie (IGP) and Reblochon (AOP) cheeses. A glass-fronted viewing gallery (with an entrance fee) overlooks the production room, so that visitors can see how the cheeses are made with their own eyes. The shop has a wide range of local products, including cheeses, ‘charcuterie‘, honey, jam, Savoie wines, and lots more besides.
The ‘Fruitière‘ houses ‘Croq’ Alp – La Maison du Goût‘. Follow Lactasia, the main character in a 3D film, as she goes from Alpine pastures to the maturing cellars and learn the secrets behind the smells, flavours and aromas of our Savoie cheeses. Production room with a viewing gallery, guided tasting session and 3D film.
