Do you prefer traditional skiing or skating? All techniques are possible at the Haut-Giffre Nordic ski area!
The Haut-Giffre Nordic ski area is divided into 3 sectors, at altitudes of between 690m and 1,770m.
Nordic, valley sector, alongside the river Giffre
A gentle slope takes you around Samoëns, Morillon and Sixt, near the villages, through the forest, across the plain, around lakes, etc.
Nordic, Fer-à-Cheval sector
A 10 km loop through a stunning setting, from Molliet to the famous Cirque du Fer à Cheval; intermediate slopes, to enjoy at your own pace.
It is worth noting that these two sectors are linked, making a 42 km slope, there and back!
Nordic, Joux Plane sector
This high-altitude site has guaranteed snow throughout the winter season and is ideally exposed, with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc.
